Description

The BC 14.0 WL accompanies you on bike rides with over 14 levels of functionality and a special focus on riding in mountainous terrain. The barometric altimeter shows you, among other things, your current altitude and gradient. In addition, the bike computer tracks the elevation gain on climbs as well as the maximum elevation of your daily ride. You can also keep track of your overall statistics. Speed and other ride data are transmitted wirelessly via the digitally encoded STS radio protocol.

For analysis, the BC 14.0 WL stores statistics from the past twelve months. This allows you to compare total distance, ride time, and elevation gain on a monthly basis. The 31 x 41 mm display offers plenty of space for excellent-quality digits and features a backlight that can be turned on. It is operated using three buttons. You can also set up the bike computer for two bikes and, if needed, expand its functionality with a separately available cadence sensor.

It mounts to the handlebars or stem using cable ties. The BC 14.0 WL can then be easily removed and reattached. According to the manufacturer, a CR-2450 button cell battery powers the device for more than two years. Total values and settings remain saved when the battery is replaced. Additional features include a reminder function for a bike inspection after 750 kilometers, seven selectable languages, and a waterproof housing. The bike computer thus combines comprehensive route data with straightforward operation for ambitious rides and multi-day routes.
