S/Lab Shift Alpha Boa Backcountry Ski Boot

The Salomon S/Lab Shift Alpha Boa freeride ski boots are designed for challenging ski and freeride tours. These unisex ski boots are aimed at advanced skiers and snowboarders who don’t want to compromise on performance, whether ascending or descending. The combination of comfort and performance makes them a solid choice for your next adventures in the snow.

The ski boot features a very high flex rating of 140, guaranteeing maximum precision and stability. Freespine technology ensures direct power transfer between the shaft and the shell. The BOA® Fit System allows for precise adjustments to ensure a secure fit. Together with the Exobelt closure, this minimizes blisters during ascents. The 98 mm last width provides a slimmer, snug fit that enhances control over your wider skis. The outsole made from solid rubber provides grip on various surfaces, while the integrated Powerplate enhances forward flex, thereby optimizing power transfer. These benefits make the S/Lab Shift Alpha a versatile all-rounder touring boot suitable for a wide range of applications.

Additional customization options, such as screw-on buckles and the Custom Shell™ HD process, allow you to tailor the boot to your needs in no time. The liner, with its 4D Talyn® construction and Sensitive 2 insole, offers excellent stability and foot support. Weighing just 1,850 g per pair, these boots are light enough for long ascents without sacrificing performance. The S/Lab Shift Alpha Boa is therefore cleverly designed and a good choice for anyone navigating uneven terrain who also values comfort and control.
