Elixir 4 Tent

The MSR Elixir 4 is a comfortable, robust tent for groups or families who go on tour together - whether on trekking routes, canoe tours or at base camp. It offers plenty of space, reliable protection and features that are also impressive for longer stays. Thanks to the free-standing construction with aluminum poles and color-coded clips, pitching is simple and intuitive - even in windy conditions or at dusk. The interior can easily accommodate four people, and even larger sleeping mats can be laid out comfortably next to each other. The almost vertical side walls and the generous ceiling height of 122 cm ensure a pleasant feeling of space and sufficient freedom of movement. The inner tent combines air-permeable mesh with opaque material, providing a good level of ventilation, privacy and protection from the cold. Two large side doors with StayDry™ function allow easy access and prevent water from entering thanks to the integrated rain gutter. The two generously sized vestibules create enough space for rucksacks, shoes or cooking equipment - so the interior always stays tidy. The outer tent made of robust ripstop polyester with a water column of 1500 mm provides reliable weather protection. The floor is equipped with 3000 mm PU-coated polyester and provides reliable protection against moisture and abrasion. The solution-dyed materials used are particularly durable and environmentally friendly, as significantly less water and energy is used during production. Practical equipment details such as internal mesh pockets, cable grommets and reflective guy points noticeably increase comfort. A matching footprint for additional ground protection is already included and also allows lighter set-up variants on request.
