Merino Wash Detergents

Fibertec’s Merino Wash detergent is a particularly gentle, specialized detergent for merino wool and other wool fibers such as virgin wool, alpaca, and cashmere. Plant-based surfactants thoroughly clean the fine textiles without stripping them of their natural oils, thereby preserving the wool’s natural moisture-wicking benefits and dimensional stability. Unlike many conventional wool detergents, Merino Wash is made from lanolin and other fatty acids, eliminating the need for additional conditioning. The vegan formula contains no enzymes, dyes, silicones, or microplastics and delivers excellent cleaning results even at low temperatures. An understated scent of plant-based cedar oil provides extra freshness. In addition, the detergent is readily biodegradable and bluesign® certified.
