<p data-start="359" data-end="646">The Dynafit DNA Ice-X ice axe was developed for maximum efficiency in ski touring racing, but is also a precise tool for alpine mountaineering.</p> <p data-start="359" data-end="646">Weighing just 225 grams, it is one of the lightest ice axes in its class without sacrificing stability.<br>The curved, ergonomically shaped shaft ensures optimum leverage in steep terrain and is controlled in the hand even on quick, technically demanding passages. The closed shaft reliably prevents snow and ice from penetrating - a technical advantage in changing conditions.</p> <p data-start="967" data-end="1340">The pick and shaft are made from a lightweight aluminum construction designed for maximum weight reduction. The robust steel tip increases grip on hard ground and ensures reliable stability on ascents and traverses.
