The Garmont Tower 3.0 Extreme GTX is made for just that: a technical alpine winter boot for demanding mountaineering, mixed routes and ice passages.</p> <p>The weatherproof upper material is not only particularly hard-wearing, but also designed for all-round protection and performance. The integrated gaiter with BOA&reg; closure fits snugly and reliably protects against snow, ice and cold. Inside, the GORE-TEX&reg; Insulated Comfort membrane ensures dry, warm feet - even on long days in wintry terrain. The insulating O-Therm&reg; insole from Ortholite provides additional support from below. The Vibram&reg; Vertex sole with a pronounced profile is used for reliable traction on rock, snow and ice. In combination with a carbon-reinforced midsole, the boot offers stability and precision - and is conditionally crampon-compatible thanks to the heel support.</p> <p>Perfect for ambitious mountaineers who don't want to compromise on alpine routes.</p>
