adidas Terrex and Five Ten join forces

In 2011, adidas Terrex joined forces with Five Ten, an outdoor brand that has been particularly popular in the climbing scene since 1985 with its grippy Stealth rubber soles, but which was also able to convince the MTB community of the advantages of its performance shoes a few years later.

Collaboration with top athletes

Thanks to the merger of Five Ten and adidas Terrex, the two brands in the climbing and mountain biking sectors benefit from each other's knowledge, experience, and extensive athlete testing in developing new products. For example, bouldering world champion Shauna Coxsey and Swiss bouldering icon Fred Nicole provided input in developing new climbing shoes. Top athletes such as climbers Sasha Di Giulian and Nina Williams, trail runner Benjamin Bublak, mountain biker Martin Söderström, and the climbing brothers Alexander and Thomas Huber – better known as the "Huber Buam" – also work with adidas Terrex.
