Description

The Alpine Series was developed by Sea to Summit for the toughest conditions in mountaineering and expeditions. The Alpine APIII sleeping bag therefore offers a lot to make your nights relaxing even in arctic temperatures. Nothing is left to chance either in the construction or in the materials used.

The goose down alone in a 95/5 mixing ratio and an outstanding bulking power provides a homely feeling in the Alpine APIII. To ensure that the down functions under all conditions, it has also been made water-repellent. Meanwhile, the Responsible Down Standard certification guarantees species-appropriate animal husbandry. Sea to Summit relies on NanoShell™ fabric for the outer material. Windproof and very waterproof, the sleeping bag retains its performance at all times. The materials are also extremely light and compressible - every gram often counts when it comes to equipment.

The cut of the Alpine APIII is wide enough to take additional clothing into the sleeping bag. The anatomically shaped foot box even has room for the boots. A continuous two-way zipper on the left and a short zipper on the right release both arms. With 60% of the down on the front and 40% on the back, as well as the longitudinal chambers on the chest, the down stays where it belongs. Because cold bridges are the last thing you need, when the elements move in.
